In regards to Agency Commission and Discounts: A 15% commission on ad space will be allowed to recognized advertising agencies. A 15% discount is always given to nonprofit organizations. Where the nonprofit discount applies, the agency commission will not apply.
In regards to Net or Gross ad rates...
understanding that Gross is the cost that the client pays, and
Net is the cost that the agency pays... our introductory ad rates
are the exact amount of money we need to receive regardless of who
is reserving the ad space (our net). If an agency is reserving the
ad space we ask and/or expect the agency to mark it up 17.65%...
...in regards to our normal/2008 ad rates we do provide the agency,
a gross cost and bill the agency less 15%.
