A Win, Win for the American Economy
Don't stop spending money... continue to spend but do so smartly!
When people (aka: consumers) stop spending money... the affects are felt by everyone. When consumers are no longer buying or decrease the amount of consumer-goods they purchase dramatically; businesses suffer because they are no longer making the same amount of money. Therefore businesses are unable to have as many employees or offer the same benefits to its employees and/or consumers.
Much more is affected such as... the amount of product or type of product a business may offer, the hours of operation, the quality of customer service, the amount of money made by a household and the list goes on and on. During times of less spending by the consumer many traveling plans are halted due to a lack of funds, this in return hurts the national and world economies; because more jobs are lost and more families are affected (such as: Destination Businesses, Travel Agents/Agencies, Airlines, Hotels, Restaurants, Tour Companies, Shipping/Trucking/Freight Companies, Suppliers, etc.)
Basic or normal living styles are affected more so than anything. People stop going out as much (eating, drinking, socializing, movies, day trips, weekend outings, etc.) ...daily/weekly/monthly luxuries such as (golfing, coffee/cigar breaks, house/office cleaning, maid service, nannies, lawn maintenance, pool service providers, fish tank cleaners, car washes, etc.) are not experienced as often and in some cases are stopped all together.
During these times the rich or even just the smart and/or fortunate (who have saved or been able to save) can ride it out without experiencing a financial lose; in some cases many are able to create financial fortunes off of the losses of others (example: Bank Owned Properties, Foreclosures, etc.)
...the families who make up the middle and lower incomes of America may not be as fortunate during these times... many will lose their jobs or experience a family member losing theirs; household incomes may become smaller... while the bills will not change. Many of those in this group will continue to progress positively and continue to grow as a family, and as individuals; working towards a brighter/better future in spite of the obstacles in front of them.
Regardless if you are going forward or backward... never more so than now should all the people unite! The rich, the poor and the middle class all have something in common... as a group we all decide the fate of our nations economy. If we stop spending... many more will lose their jobs, many more businesses will go under, and many more people will become poor and will go without.
This is where the world starts to understand and actually realizes the importance of the little guys (the middle and lower class) ...the little guys of the world are so very, very important - they decide the economy! They are the reasons the rich get richer and they are the reasons the economy suffers or flourishes. Rest assured that when these 2 groups of people (middle and lower class-consumers) decide to stop spending money... businesses close, jobs are lost and lives are changed.
The little things are just as important... (ex: small ticket items, specials, savings, discounts, etc.) ...if businesses want people to spend money during tougher times, they will need to make it easier for the consumer to do so. This is not a time to raise your prices or to be the highest priced place in town. People will eat out, they will shop, they will travel but they need incentive to do so; and this requires cooperation from everyone. Offering affordable integrity/quality driven, products and/or services is the best option during any economy but a must if one is to succeed and stand out during these times.
Compromise for solution... "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" ...Mahatma Gandhi once said. Businesses should continue to offer savings and incentive driven programs to consumers; and consumers should continue to patronize these establishments offering value while being fully aware of the sacrifices being made by all business owners and employees on their behalf.
For our neighborhoods and economy to stabilize money must continue to be spent from all directions... Businesses must continue to market and advertise their products and/or services (offering discounts and savings through incentive driven campaigns to increase positive traffic flow) ...while consumers must continue to look for these savings and take advantage of them whenever possible...
...consumers must continue to eat out (but do so smartly, using coupons or at establishments offering daily savings) ...consumers must continue to seek the new experience (don't be afraid to try something new) by visiting more establishments in your area... homeowners must continue to employee individuals who can provide assistance (ex: nannies, housekeepers, dry-cleaners, lawn specialists, pool companies, chimney sweeps, etc.) ...service providers must continue to sub out projects and everyone must continue to be aware of all of those around them.
Together we can help hundreds and/or thousands of families keep their homes, stabilize our neighborhoods and strengthen the Temecula, Murrieta and neighboring cities economy.
Businesses offering savings will be rewarded with
consumers who will spend money. Consumers who spend money will be
rewarded with value and savings. A Win, Win for the American Economy!
Don't stop spending money... continue to spend but do so smartly!
